1. To synthesize a series of metal organic frameworks which contain transition metals, N-donor organic linkers and carboxylate based ligands in single crystals and bulk samples in order to search for their functionalities.
2. To determine the molecular and crystal structures of the products by single crystal X-ray diffraction.
3. To investigate the thermal stability of the obtained metal organic frameworks.
4. To study the photofluorescent properties of some metal organic frameworks.
5. To study the temperature variable magnetic properties of some products.
6. To study sorptions properties gas and/or organic molecule of some metal organic frameworks and determine the formation constant (Kf) of host and organic guest molecule.
7. To evaluate the ion exchange properties and catalytic activities of some products.
