The main objectives of this research project are given as follows.
1. Applying multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) to examine the nutrient and vitamins in foods, fruits, vegetables, soft drinks in term of quantity, quality and price and investigate which is the best or the worst among each kind of food, fruit, and vegetable, and make some recommendations for consumer to select.
2. Forecasting rainfall and water level in each province along the Chao Praya river separately by using univariate Box Jenkins models and Fourier analysis and compare the results.
3. Forecasting rainfall and water level in each province along the Chao Praya river by using bivariate Box Jenkins model and compare the results with univariate Box Jenkins models.
4. Proposing the nonlinear mixed effects model of colorectal cancer, estimating the parameters , and of the nonlinear mixed effects model of colorectal cancer patients by using LB and SAEM algorithms, and comparing the residual of predicted model based on the LB and SAEM algorithms.
5. Study on the dose response models and method for estimating and evaluating estimates, deriving the properties of estimates by using the maximum likelihood and Berkson's minimum chi-square methods in large sample, and comparing the estimates based on the two methods by using asymptotic comparison of MSE.
6. Study on the application of the concept of sufficiency in different types of experiments, that is sufficiency in bivariate and trivariate normal distributions with different structure of "rho", sufficiency in linear regression model and quadratic regression model with/without intercept term, and sufficiency in one-way analysis of variance random effect model.
