The objective of the proposed basic research is to create series of coastal storm hazard maps in place where paleotempestological studies confirmed the occurrence of storm. The maps will be created mostly from a successful result of identifying and dating geological evidence of historical and the pre-historical tropical cyclone (typhoon) strikes preserved in coastal marshes on the GOT side
