The final objective of this research is to establish design guidelines for road embankment and deep excavation using cement-treated soils in soft ground area. Therefore, the objectives of this study are as follows;
1) To better understand the key influencing factors on behaviors of soil and cement-treated soils under embankment loading and excavation.
2) To get insight into the dependence of structural performance under embankment loading and excavation on key influencing factors.
3) To capture the relationship among design related parameters and key influencing factors.
4) To establish the economic and rational guidelines and considerations for design of construction with cement-treated soil
