วัตถุประสงค์

This research program aims to investigate the effects of combination treatment of M. oleifera leaf extracts and radiation on breast cancer cells in comparison with radiation treatment by itself. Two hypotheses are the focus of the investigation.
Hypothesis 1: M. oleifera extracts would exert antioxidant effects on irradiated cancer cells, resulting in reduction in oxidative DNA damage and DNA double strand breaks.
Hypothesis 2: M. oleifera extracts may induce apoptosis in irradiated cancer cells, while reducing cell proliferation ability.
