วัตถุประสงค์
:
1 To confirm the relationship between PRH and phosphorylated PRH levels in ICC and to determine whether changes in the level of these proteins in PSC and PBC are diagnostic of progression to ICC,
2 To determine how changes PRH expression influence tumour growth in a mouse ICC xenograft model,
3 To determine whether pharmacological interventions that decrease PRH phosphorylation (CX-4945), would be of value for ICC patients with reduced PRH levels/high phosphorylated PRH levels and (4) PRH depletion sensitises ICC cells to chemotherapeutics,
4 To determine whether PRH depletion sensitises ICC cells to chemotherapeutics
5 To investigate whether the products of PRH target genes can be detected in serum for early diagnosis of ICC.
