วัตถุประสงค์
:
1. To determine the plasma profiles of MMP-2, MMP-9 and TIMP-1 levels in Thai acute myocardial infarction patients at various times after the onset of acute myocardial infarction.
2. To correlate the plasma levels of MMP-2, MMP-9, and TIMP-1 with the incidence of recurrent myocardial infarction and the mortality after acute myocardial infarction during a 1-year follow up period.
3. To investigate the relationship between the plasma MMP-2, MMP-9 and TIMP-1 levels and left ventricular dysfunction following acute myocardial infarction in Thai patients.
