1) To determine locations and the minimum number of piezoelectric actuator patches on the ultrasonic piezoelectric motor that generate stable traveling waves.
2) To analyze the vibration behavior of the ultrasonic stator when the system is excited by the minimal number of piezoelectric actuators.
3) To setup an experiment and test the ultrasonic stator with reduced actuator patches.
