วัตถุประสงค์
:
The purpose of this study are 1) to evaluate the possibility of using the Twin-track distraction device developed by Suzuki et al. 22 in order to perform distraction of the deficient alveolar ridge segments using the orthodontic miniscrew implants in smaller or larger edentulous segments along all spatial planes in mini-pigs. 2) to investigate the amount of force necessary to perform the distraction of the transported segment and the correlation between the amount of force applied and the stability of the transported segment.
