วัตถุประสงค์
:
1. Develop the nonlinear dynamic analysis program that can incorporate the inelastic behavior of structures as well as nonlinearity of liquid type dampers.
2. To numerically and experimentally study the control characteristics of TLCDs with various configurations.
3. To numerically and experimentally study the control characteristics of the TLCD equipped with a flow-triggering device.
4. To numerically investigate the control performances of a typical TLCD and TLCD equipped with a flow-triggering device installed in an elasto-plastic shear building subjected to moderate ground motions.
5. To determine the most suitable situation to trig the flow-triggering device of the tuned liquid column damper to minimize the damage of the elasto-plastic shear building subjected to moderate ground motions.
