To extract useful knowledge from the literature and biological data repository on bioactive compounds using data mining techniques. 2. To apply in silico techniques for understanding the properties of bioactive compounds and their mechanism of action. 3. To elucidate the biological, chemical, and biophysical properties of the compounds of interest. 4. To rationally design artificial enzyme mimics possessing antioxidant activities. 5. To experimentally validate promising antioxidant compounds derived from theoretical studies. 6.
