1. To determine the plasma profile of urocortin level in Thai patients patients with acute heart failure at various times after index admission.
2. To investigate the influence of age, gender, BMI on plasma urocortin level in healthy control and Thai heart failure patients.
3. To investigate the relationship between the plasma urocortin level and left ventricular function and plasma NT-pro BNP level following acute heart heart failure in Thai patients.
4. To investigate the prognostic performance of urocortin compared to NT-proBNP and additive prognostic performance with NT-proBNP on long term clinical outcomes in acute heart failure patients.
