วัตถุประสงค์

In this study, uses and gratifications (U&G) is used as a theoretical framework to explain the interrelationships among dispositions (i.e., locus of control and unwillingness to communicate), Internet communication motives, Internet use, and social and psychological well-being.
The objectives of this study are (1) to explore Internet motives for interpersonal and/or social communication among Thais, (2) to investigate how and why people with different dispositions and backgrounds use the Internet for social communication, and (3) to examine the influence of dispositions, Internet communication motives, and Internet use on social and psychological well-being.
