วัตถุประสงค์
:
The overall objectives of this study are to prepare biocompatible surfactant-modified surfaces for removing of organic solute contaminants in water. This research aims to develop a biocompatible modified-material in order to apply as subsurface barrier for groundwater remediation. The specific objectives of this study are:
1. To investigate the adsorption of biosurfactant onto solid oxide surface, in order to evaluate the effect of organic solutes polarity biosurfactant admicelles and to compare with conventional synthetic surfactants.
2. To evaluate the adsorption of column behavior of both surfactant and organic solute in continuous flow system, to demonstrate ability to use of surfactant-modified material by performing the fixed-bed column experiment.
