วัตถุประสงค์
:
The objectives of this study are to:
- investigate whether sera samples from subjects, age ranging from 30-50 years, who had received the pandemic 2009 H1N1 influenza A virus vaccine have elevated presence of anti-HA stalk antibodies in comparison to the age-matched control group that had been vaccinated with seasonal trivalent influenza vaccine before the occurrence of 2009 H1N1 influenza A virus pandemic.
- investigate the neutralizing activity of stalk-reactive sera against the virus with recombinant chimeric HA using microneutralization assay.
- investigate whether the binding site of stalk-reactive neutralizing antibodies in the sera match those of existing monoclonal antibodies with known binding site at HA stalk domain using competitive ELISA technique.
