วัตถุประสงค์
:
1. To study the cellular expression of SphK-1 and S1PR-3 in the human lung tissues from severe P. falciparum malaria patients
2. To investigate the cellular expression of SphK-1 and S1PR-3 in the lung tissues and plasma concentration of S1P in mice that died with malaria-associated ALI/ARDS
3. To demonstrate the role of SphK-1 and S1PR-3 in pathobiology of malaria-associated ALI/ARDS by using HPAECs-malaria parasite co-culture model.
