The long-term goal of our program is to develop nanocarriers that can enable enhanced cellular uptake through pH-responsive ligands and release drugs intracellularly using a H2O2 response with the biodegradable properties of a polyoxalate core. Other objectives include:
1) Synthesis of polyoxalate nanoparticles coated with pH-responsive gold nanoparticles for cancer drug delivery
2) Fabrication of polyoxalate core, formulation of NSPNs, investigation of drug release and cellular uptake
3) To establish a method to fabricate NSPNs and to publish this in international papers.
