วัตถุประสงค์
:
The overall objective of this study is to formulate microemulsion systems with low surfactant and salt concentration using extended surfactant for vegetable oil detergency at ambient and low temperature. The specific objectives of this study are:
1) To formulate different microemulsion systems using conventional surfactants and extended surfactants;
2) To study the effects of surfactant type and concentration, salt concentration, oil type, and hydrophilic/lipophilic linker addition on microemulsion phase behavior, interfacial tension, and detergency efficiency;
3) To compare microemulsion phase behavior and detergency efficiency of microemulsion systems at 25oC and 10oC
