1. To investigate whether the antiproliferative and apoptotic effects of statins are potentiated by bisphosphonates in cholangiocarcinoma (CCAs) cells.
2. To investigate the antimigratory, and anti-invasion effects of statins and drug combination of statins and bisphosphonates
3. To elucidate possible mechanisms underlying the actions of statins and bisphosphonates in regards with the modification of small G proteins and mitochondrial cell death pathway
4. To investigate whether statins and bisphosphonates potentiates certain chemotherapeutic agents, currently used in the treatment of cholangiocarcinoma.
