2.1 To present a new and effective variational model for image denoising;
2.2 To develop a fast, accurate, and efficient numerical solution for solving the proposed variational model in the first objective; and
2.3 To apply the results obtained from the first and second objectives with high-resolution images obtained from medical and remote sensing applications, e.g. ultrasound and SAR images.
