วัตถุประสงค์

The main objective of this research project is to quantify flood damage under the impacts of climate and land use changes in the lower Nam Phong River Basin. To achieve the overall objective, a number of more specific research objectives can be outlined below:
1.To understand the hydrological and hydraulic processes at river basin level for coping with flooding risks in the lower Nam Phong River Basin.
2.To assess the future impacts of climate and land use changes on flood risk.
3.To determine the flood hazard areas in the lower Nam Phong River Basin.
4.To quantify potential flood damage in view of flood depth and the extent of damage.
