วัตถุประสงค์
:
The important objective of this research is to develop the technique for gain improvement of an omnidirectional antenna by using slot array and EBG structure for modern wireless communication applications, in order to comply with the government's policy for industrial development of the new engine of growth. The following research will be conducted:
2.1. To study the method to design and develop a CPW-fed slot antenna and the proper woodpile EBG structure for applying to improve an antenna gain,
2.2. To study the proposed concept, a CPW-fed slot array antenna associated with the proper woodpile EBG structure will be designed and simulated,
2.3. To implement and experiment the prototype antenna to validate the developing analysis tool for modern wireless communication applications.
