1. To collaboratively train 1-2 doctoral students for Thai side and 3-5 doctoral students for Chinese side

3. To analyze the spatial and temporal variations of regional tropical expansion in the GMS
4. To study the spatial and temporal variations of summer monsoon circulation in the GMS
5. To investigate the spatial and temporal variations of droughts and floods in the GMS under tropical expansion scenario
6. To distinguish the main processes of the impacts of variability among tropical expansion and summer monsoon circulation on droughts and floods in the GMS
7. To reveal the mechanism for the effect of tropical expansion on the droughts and floods in the GMS
