This research is a theoretical research and is gearing towards an action research. As a designer and a lecturer in the Interior Architecture field, the researcher will work with experts in the housing design industry as well as involve with home-dwellers in order to propose new design potentials that would improve the current living conditions. The main research objectives are:
1 Studying on current conditions and problems through mapping the transformation of Bangkoks domestic interior, with a specific focus on small space living (up to 100 sq.m. of the total area) and within the group of middle class social context.
2 Involving home-dwellers, designers and architects that formed into a focused group in Bangkok.
3 Suggesting possible format for future living especially towards the trend of vertical and small space living
