1. To design and develop a chewing simulator, which is capable of simulating the human chewing behaviors, to use in the dental research and dental material testing.
2. To evaluate the developed chewing simulator by comparing the failure characteristics of the in vitro test specimen with the failure of the corresponding in vivo specimen.
3. To apply the obtained chewing simulator in the dental testing, for example the strength of the tooth after different restorations.
