วัตถุประสงค์
:
The main objective of this study is to identify novel genetic markers conferring resistance to dihydroartemisinin with/without mefloquine combination from artemisinin-resistant reference P. falciparum lines using Plasmodium Artificial Chromosome technology. The identified markers will be used to monitor the progress of drug resistant parasites that will allow the public health authorities to plan effective treatment and control the spread of resistant parasites in the endemic areas.
