(1) To construct new iterative schemes or to improve the known ones so that they can be effectively used in a wider situation. We are not only going to generalize the previous known results but also to remove some superfluous assumptions.
(2) To provide sufficient conditions for the existence of a solution of a variational inequality problem in terms of an iterative sequence.
(3) To investigate a general principle of various convergence theorems in the literature and to provide a unified approach to deduce these results.
