Investigation of the anti-bacterial effect of the ethanol extract from the red seaweed Gracilaria fisheri against shrimp pathogenic bacteria V. parahaemolyticus, V. harveyi, and human pathogenic bacteria: the underlining mechanism and bioactive compound
1) evaluating the anti-bacterial activity of the ethanol extract from G. fisheri against shrimp bacteria V. harveyi (virulence strains 1114, BB120, MM30, KM413) and V. parahaemolyticus, and a selected set of human pathogenic bacteria, 2) investigating the underlying anti-bacterial mechanism of the ethanol extract, 3) evaluating the anti-inflammatory effect of the ethanol extract on the human immune cells stimulated with bacteria, and 4) isolating and identification of the anti-bacterial bioactive compound in the ethanol extract .
