The proposed TRF Senior Research Scholar program has the following objectives
1. Further fostering the collaborative research network, among researchers in Thailand and abroad, that has been established during 1996-1999. New collaborators will be considered when appropriate.
2. Producing research scientists who will actively participating in the development of science and technology of the country.
3. Carrying out exploratory studies in basic synthetic organic chemistry and bioactive natural products.
