1. To identify, characterize and culture the neural stem cells obtained from different brain regions (SVZ, SGZ and midbrain)

6. To identify the roles of neuroprotective agents especially of melatonin and natural growth factors (BDNF) in developing and adult nerve cells, and the pharmacological potential of the factors to prevent death of the neurons, to maintain their functions and to enhance neurogenesis
7. To investigate the possibility of neural stem cells transplanted in damage brain and in neurodegeneration
