(1) To study on distribution and diversity of medically important, lung fluke (Paragonimus spp.), from various regions of Thailand, using molecular data. (2) To analyze the sequence data of this parasite and create a phylogenetic tree in order to demonstrate the relationship of the lung fluke in Thailand and other species of the parasites from different countries, which have been reported in GenBank. (3) To demonstrate molecular applications in order to identify lung fluke.

(1) To study effect of albendazole for enhancement the sensitivity for diagnosis of human strongyloidiasis in immunocompromised patients. (2) To study the clinical features and epidemiological characteristics of intestinal capillariasis in Thailand. (3) To analyze effect of anthelminthic drug for stimulating the excretion of Capillaria parasites in stool specimens and enhances sensitivity for diagnosis of intestinal capillariasis. (4) To develop rapid serodiagnostic test for intestinal capillariasis by dot immunogold filtration assay (DIGFA). (5) To develop peptide-based ELISA for serodiagnosis of human paragonimiasis heterotremus. (6) To study the association between 3-dimentional angiography imaging in subarachnoids hemorrhage caused by gnathostomiasis. (7) To study immune responses in murine gnathostomiasis.

(1) To study molecular evidence and differentiation and detection of the medically important soil-transmitted helminthes from various regions of Thailand and Thai-Laos border. (2) To analyze the sequence data of these parasites and create a phylogenetic tree in order to demonstrate the relationship of each genus of these parasites in Thailand and other species of the parasites in each genus from different countries, which have been reported in GenBank. (3) To develop rapid molecular tests for detection of these helminthes.

(3) To study ivermectin recipes of tick control in dogs in field conditions. (4) Development of rapid diagnostic tools for detection of blood parasites.
