The overall objective of the project is to develop and support a network of strong researchers in Thailand for space plasma physics, cosmic rays, and related topics. The research objectives are:
.To better understand the diffusion coefficients of magnetic field lines and particles in space plasmas.
.To clarify patterning and intermittency in magnetic field line and energetic particle trajectories through space.
.To simulate space plasma structures, including magnetic reconnection, dynamos, and the aurorae of Jupiter and Earth.
.To study cosmic ray variations using neutron counters.
.To determine relationships between radiation and atmospheric phenomena.
.To perform cosmic ray studies using the Fermi-LAT satellite.
.To perform cosmic ray studies using air shower arrays.
.To model possible observable effects of dark matter on cosmic rays.
