2.1 To generate the new findings on biofuels (bio-hydrogen and bioethanol) production from first, second and third generation biomass.
2.2 To generate the new findings on value added substances (1,3-propanediol, citric acid, succinic acid) production from second and third generation biomass.
2.3 To generate the international publications in accredited international journal.
2.4 To improve the capability of young researchers to publish high quality publications.
2.5 To generate the young scientists in the area of renewable energy and value added substances production from agricultural biomass with Master and Ph.D. degree.
2.6 To assist the young, junior and senior staffs to get promoted to the higher academic positions i.e. Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor, respectively.
2.7 To strengthen the collaboration in biofuels and value added substances production between Khon Kaen University and other institutes inside and outside Thailand.
