วัตถุประสงค์
:
After completion of this study:
1) To systematically categorize libraries of selected functional IRSs based on its direction (sense or antisense) and other characteristics
2) To associate a series of significant genes with relevance of methylation and the libraries in 1)
3) To propose methylation specific amplification at the boundary of the IRS and sequences of regulatory regions of particular genes in which the functional IRSs are located to determine methylation status of these specific region
4) To test whether the methylation status of the regions in 3) associate with distinct expression level of the gene at which the IRS is inserted and this is likely to propose that this gene is controlled by methylation of the IRSs.
