Synthesis of yttrium-doped barium zirconate nanoparticles by sonochemical method and improvement of their sinterability and proton conductivity by addition of NiO
To investigate a novel method for preparing yttrium-doped barium zirconate (Ba(YxZr1-x)O3 when x = 0.1 or 0.2 (BYZ)) for use as proton conducting materials.
To synthesis (Ba(YxZr1-x)O3 when x = 0.1 or 0.2) nanoparticles by a sonochemical method.
To study the effects of precursor concentration and ultrasonicating time on phase formation and microstructure of BYZ powders.
To fabricate dense BYZ ceramics by addition of NiO.
To investigate the effects of NiO addition on sinterability and proton conductivity of the prepared nanosized BYZ materials.
To report, present and publish the research work in science international meetings and journals.
