Development of green analytical methodologies for sample preconcentration and high performance liquid chromatographic analysis of fungicide residues in food and environmental samples
(1) To explore and develop sample preconcentration based microextraction strategies using low toxic organic solvents and new alternative greener reagents such as methyl benzoate and methyl salicylate coupled with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for trace determination of benzimidazole fungicides in food and environmental samples
(2) To develop ultrasound- and vortex-assisted based microextraction techniques using methyl benzoate and methyl salicylate as extraction solvents for the HPLC analysis of target fungicides
(3) To investigate and optimize sample preparation methods for foods and environmental samples before microextraction strategies and instrumental analysis
