The Dynamic of the Rise, Conflict and Transformation of the Grassroots Yellow Shirts: Political Opportunity, Mobilization Structure and Framing Process
1. To analyse the formation, development, dynamics, problems and limitations of the anti-TRT or Yellow Shirt movement before, during and after the dominant period of the Peoples Alliance for Democracy, as well as the rise of PDRC.
2. To examine the origins, development and transformation of the political strategy and ideology of the Yellow Shirt movement.
3. To provide analysis and alternative perception for further self-reflection, lesson learning, self-development and long-term conflict resolution among the Yellow Shirt leadership and mass supporters.
4. To promote better understanding about the complex nature and development of the Yellow Shirt movement among wider public.
5. To produce a basic analysis and data for future analyse on the on-going and protracted colour-coded conflict and its long-term resolution.
