1.To develop graphene oxide-silane-mordenite/Nafion composite membrane in order to reduce ethanol permeability and achieve a higher DEFC performance.
2.To determine the best configuration of mordenite treatments which is used as inorganic fillers in Nafion composite membranes.
3.To determine the best configuration of composite membrane casting method between 2-layer composite membranes and homogenous dispersion of mordenite in the composite membranes.
4.To investigate the methanol permeability, proton conductivity, and morphology of graphene oxide-silane-mordenite/Nafion composite membrane.
5.To investigate the effect of ethanol temperature and concentration on the performance of the developed graphene oxide-silane-mordenite/Nafion composite membrane compared to untreated mordenite/Nafion composite membrane and a commercial Nafion membrane.
