Mass Production and Evaluation of Biochemical Composition of the High Carotenoid Photosynthetic Bacteria, Rhodopseudomonas faecalis as Diet and Probiotic for Fairy Shrimp of Thailand
1. To study the mass production of photosynthetic bacteria Rps. faecalis with different inoculum size by batch cultivation
2. To provide the biochemical profile of Rps. faecalis cultivated in condition obtained from 1.
3. To estimate the efficiency of Rps. faecalis on growth performance, growth rate, survival rate, the duration of maturation, proximate and biochemical compositions of fairy shrimp, Streptocephalus sirindhornae and Branchinella thailandensis compared to the known microbial live food, Chlorella sp. and Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
4. To determine the potential of Rps. faecalis as probiotic against black disease in fairy shrimp B. thailandensis compared to Chlorella sp. and S. cerevisiae.
