2.1 Study and design the TDMR magnetic grain channels based on the rectangular-grain model, discrete-grain Voronoi, and Voronoi models that are constructed from the Image of real magnetic media.
2.2 Design and develop a novel iterative 2D detection, 2D modulation code, and combine both algorithms together for achieving the best performance of the systems.
2.3 Integrate TDMR iterative 2D detection, error correction code, and 2D modulation coding in overall turbo-detection architecture with each TDMR magnetic grain channel models.
2.4 Publish research in the international journal that appeared in ISI Web of knowledge.
