วัตถุประสงค์
:
Ultimate objectives: To invent human single chain antibody variable fragments (HuScFv) that inhibit immunosuppressive proteins of B. malayi for further use as a novel anti-filarial agent
Specific objectives:
1. To reveal B. malayi protein(s) that suppresses host immunity by induction of Treg
and immunosuppressive cytokines
2. To restore the host immunity that had been suppressed by the B. malayi, by using HuScFv that inhibits the activity of the filarial immunosuppressive protein(s).
