วัตถุประสงค์
:
6.1 To ascertain whether SRA represses expression of globin genes in the human erythroblast progenitors K562 and of primary human hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs).
6.2 To determine whether silencing of SRA in erythroblast progenitors derived from patients with alpha- or beta-thalassemia will induce expression of embryonic globin genes such as hemoglobin zeta and gamma.
6.3 To test whether SRA differentially associates along the alpha and beta globin clusters during erythroid differentiation of the human erythroblast progenitors K562 and of primary human HSCs.
