The ultimate goal in this project is to obtain a set of new analytical solutions that serve as predictive tool for phase-averaged wave parameters. In order to achieve the goal, the following objectives have been set:
1) to mathematically develop new analytical solutions for estimation of wave parameters;
2) to test the new formulas with existing data and numerical solutions;
3) to set up wave measurement schemes in Thailand to obtain appropriate field data;
4) to analyze the raw measured data and establish a new field database;
5) to evaluate and validate the new analytical formulas with the field data;
6) to illustrate advancement that the new formulas offer in engineering application
