วัตถุประสงค์
:
We propose a study of organoacids as a self-assemble monolayer (SAM) on the metal surface. Initially, we will study the form of monolayer on the surface of copper and use it for copper corrosion prevention against moisture and other common oxidizers. Once the condition of growing SAM has been established, we will also use this copper covered with SAM as an electrode and study the electron transfer to a common electron receptor, e.g. ascorbic acid, ferrocene, etc.
