Synthesis of copper-cerium oxide-titanium dioxide (Cu-CeO2-TiO2) nanosheets by the sono-assisted exfoliation method for an application in solar activated photoconversion of CO2 to fuels
1 To investigate a novel method for preparing copper-cerium oxide-titanium dioxide (Cu-CeO2-TiO2) nanosheets for use as photocatalysts in solar activated photoconversion of CO2 to fuels.
2 To synthesis Cu-CeO2-TiO2 nanosheets by the sono-assisted exfoliation-method.
3 To study the effects of synthesis parameters including precursor types, precursor concentrations and sonochemical times on phase formation and microstructure of Cu-CeO2-TiO2 nanosheets.
4 To investigate CO2 photoconversion property of the Cu-CeO2-TiO2 photocatalysts.
5 To report, present and publish the research work in international scientific conferences and international scientific journals
