วัตถุประสงค์
:
Aim 1: To investigate the effects of testosterone deprivation after the presence of obese-insulin resistance on metabolic parameters, FGF21 and humanin levels, cardiac autonomic regulation, cardiac function, cardiac mitochondrial function, insulin receptor function, apoptosis process, and aging process in male rats with obese-insulin resistance followed by gender hormone deprivation.
Aim 2: To investigate the comparative effects of DPP-4 inhibitor, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and combined DPP-4 inhibitor and low-dose testosterone replacement therapy on metabolic parameters, FGF21 level, humanin level, cardiac autonomic regulation, cardiac function, cardiac mitochondrial function, insulin receptor function, GLP-1 receptor function, AR function, apoptosis process, and aging process in male rats with obese-insulin resistance followed by gender hormone deprivation.
